http://kotaku.com/gaming/crime/gamestop-manager-killed-during-robbery-313396.php This was in the region of gamestop stores around this area including the ones both Brian and I work at. Take a look. So disturbing. Hope they charge the bastard with murder if they catch him. That is all I want to say about that.
Been trying to get as much working in as possible, but that hasn't really been working out. I may need to get a third and a fourth job the way things are going now. Had an interview with Newton County Library a couple of weeks ago but never heard anything more from them so I can safely assume that that possibility is no longer one. And I really wanted it too. Oh well, such is life.
My mom came into town a few weeks ago. First time I'd seen her since she was in the hospital right after the wreck. She looks good. A bit thinner but otherwise the same. Her legs, especially the left, are torn to hell and back but getting better though they'll never be the same. She wields that wheelchair really well. So proud of her.
My uncle Larry died a few days ago at his home in Kentucky. He had lung cancer. Funny thing is my parents didn't find out that he had it until the day before he died. His funeral is tonight and the burial is tomorrow in Harlan County, KY. He was my dad's older sister's husband. They had been married for more than 50 years, and she's alreday lost 2 children. I feel so bad for her. My uncle never learned to read, but he told the greatest stories. Always managed to scare the crap outta me with his ghost stories. May he rest in peace.
Been playing a lot of WOW in my spare time. Having a lot of fun when I'm not frustrated by it. I think that''s about all.
