A real (quick) update

Home again, home again! Man, is it nice to be here and to not have to worry about school for a few weeks. Some school related news to talk about however. Got all A's in my classes. So excited. It made my GPA go up. Hopefully, with this I'll be able to graduate with honors. We'll see.

Got to see Katelyn last weekend. Will get to see her this weekend thanks to Dustin's coming up. She is the most adorable kid I have ever seen. Gave her her Christmas presents already; she seems to like them.

Went out with Red and Faith this past Sunday. It's always so much fun to go out with them. We stayed in Chili's so long that I'm sure the people working there were wondering if we planned to move in. Planning on going out with Red tomorrow. Speaking of that, I mist call her when I'm done here and check on our plans. Faith had to start work so she's not going to be able to make it for this one. We will get together soon though.

As I mentioned above, Dustin is coming this weekend, and we plan to have our Christmas celebration a week early since I'm not going to be able to make it down there for Christmas. He's also taking me to the new Georgia Aquarium on Saturday. We already have the reservations and everything. I'm so excited. I hear that it's awesome. So excited to see him as well. It should be a great weekend.

Had to go to the orthopedist today. I fell down some staird a year and a half ago, and I was told that I had sprained my ankle. It's never been the same since. It always stays swollen and puffy and hurting. It will sometimes fall out from under me as well. I went to the GSW Health Center about it, and they just laughed at me. I was worried it was all in my head. They took some xrays today, and it turns out that I have torn ligaments through that side of my foot. No wonder it's been hurting constantly. There's not much they can do about it from the outside, but i was told that if it bothers me enough they can do surgery on it. I'm seriously thinking about getting it down over spring break. With my left side already bad, I am putting a lot of pressure on that right ankle. I'm sure that surgery would be my best option.

Otherwise, all I've been doing is getting some much needed rest. Been sleeping and doing a lot of reading and listening to books on tape. I am currently reading "Team of Rivals" by Doris Kearns Goodwin about Abraham Lincoln. Not very far into it, but it is good so far.

I hope you all have a very happy holiday season, and I will write again soon.
