Countdown begins. Seventy-two seconds.

I can feel Colonel O'Neill at my back, knowing his gun is raised to defend me. Teal'c is a hazy blob in the periphery, staff weapon flaring madly towards the trees. The panel is removed and I can see the alien mechanisms I was able to look at for half an hour yesterday. Schematics and practical machinery are so damned different.

Will I be able to pull this off again? Will I be able to perform yet another brilliant feat of genius?

"Let's go, Carter. Forty seconds..."

I guess we're about to see.
