"What's this?" Doctor Fraiser asked, examining a faint blue ink impression on the underside of Captain Carter's upper arm. It was Fraiser's first full physical examination of the Captain since taking the post at Cheyenne Mountain, and she wanted to confirm the markings weren't the sign of some alien disease.
Carter blushed. "Squad tattoo from when I flew with the 16th Air Force in the Gulf."
Fraiser raised an eyebrow. "An atom?"
"You've heard of the Aces? We were the Nukes. You can take the astrophysicist out of the lab, but you can't take the physics away from the woman..."
