Okay, I have absolutely no idea where this came from, only that I owe lots of apologies to John Donne. That whirring noise is him spinning in his grave.
*mental note to self: Don’t read The Private Life of Plants before bedtime

And yes, I have probably lost any remaining marbles that I ever possessed.

Thou should swell’st in thy bed, tended with such a care as none who know me would’st believe. This careful husbandry that ha’st altered mine own maidenhead allows two bloods to mingle into one.
Hands spread over thy tended mound as a calyx, sure and stead, an eternal genesis for us bothe.
First so small and pale, then ripening to flesh, swollen purple with thy life. I would’st take a bite, mindful of thy taste, then swallow whole and understanding of thy end.
Now the eaten is turned succour unto mee, suckt each drop with passing time to flower eventually.
