Sam didn't think Jack sounded apologetic enough: 'Sorry, Carter. Maybe water got inside and they rusted.'
Sam didn't think Janet sounded convincing enough: 'Sorry, Sam, I just don't keep tools in the house.'
And Jack sounded way too flippant when he asked Janet: 'You have a nail file, honey?'
Janet smiled uselessly, shaking her head.
Sam thought Janet was lying.
She glared at them. Now she needed the bathroom.
Jack and Janet looked at her. They glanced at the broken key, then at each other. They shrugged.
Sam exploded. 'Find a fucking screwdriver and get me out of these handcuffs!'
