Uneventful -but thouroughly rich- weekend

FRIDAY

I was slacking around at home with Doggie and Brother when Boyfriend showed up, freshly wired from leaving his workplace for the weekend.

"Let's eat and go out"

I'm an agreeable girl when it involves eating, so we ordered sushi and ham'n'olive pizza and got ready for the night perusing the internet.

"Hey, Uffie's playing tonight at the Low Club"

Sushie and pizza were dealt with in less than five minutes. However, Uffie and Feadz took their good two hours to climb to scene. Meanwhile, the mic broke off, the resident DJ tried to calm the masses and the house invited everyone to a round of one-shots.

Uffie was fantastic. The music system sucked big time, but she had a great personality standing there and giving out glasses of champagnes to the public. The party lasted until 6 o'clock in the morning, and then we all headed home.

The Low Club has the biggest restroom ever. And lotsa mirrors too.

SATURDAY

Woke up snarky and famished. Jumped over Boyfriend and Dog and headed to the kitchen to breakfast on the pizza leftovers from yesterday night.

But Oh, Horror. The pizza box was empty.

" Broooother"  I managed to utter through the thunders in my stomach  "Little brother... where are thou?"

Brother later confessed, under torture and menaces, that his hungry shipmates friends had killed my yummy pizza slices. One of them was actually still in the house, though nowhere to be seen. However, he materialized when my coffee started to brew. As did Doggie, that food bitch.

After some showers and some veiled menaces, the bucanneer male form vaguely acquainted to Brother agreed to buy me a package of dougnuts in exchange for the missing pizza.

Boyfriend left the house for the day, promising to come back for the night -with lotsa films!!!.

I started to pet my plots into their tidy Excell cages, trying to keep the ideas flowing AND organized at the same time. Right now I'm still working at the Citadelle and Amalfi stories (original fics, yes) though I recently catched a nice bunny in the form of a sci-fi AU for the Ouranverse, which is starting to look yummy enough to put it in the mental oven.

Me Éclair carefully observing the plot bunny's Tamaki's behaviour when in captivity when in joyful convulsions.

The moon came out and Boyfriend took me out for dinner at a delicious -and absolutely empty- arab restaurant. The dessert tea and fresh baklava was on the house, and we managed to roll home through the park before popping in the videotapes -yes, videotapes, I still have a VHS, gotta problem there, pal?

The first one was a horrible, nasty, male-chauvinist, pro-female abuse flick with Humphrey Boggart. Not being able to sustain the imaginery -nor the not quite funny dialogues- I fell asleep like a boa. The next one was All the President's Men yet again, and that one I enjoyed with a cup of digestive tea in my hand.

SUNDAY

Spent mostly on writing and translating some stuff, in reading a bit and studying Japanese and then in cleaning up my room. Doggie's changing his hair for the season and there were hairballs like the ones in the old Westerns going wild around the house.

all the president's men, baklava, humphrey boggart, uffie, hairball, weekend, dog
