Mike was so excited.  Jane was visiting her sister-in-law Maggie for a couple of days, and that meant one thing: he was allowed to have dessert.  Right now a slice of apple pie was rotating to nuclear perfection in the microwave.

He reached into the refrigerator.  All he needed now was the--

“Who used all the whip cream?” he frowned, shaking
