That last line was perfect. And the rose! The 'de-flowering'! That was the cutest damn thing I've ever read. The line about Cosmo, Sam being too tired to drink her juice, Brooke's fantasy about Sam's father still being alive - I can't stress enough how much I loved it all. I'm going to go read this again, and again, and again...

Thanks! I'm really glad you liked it. I'm glad the ending worked, too. I really wanted that to be special: it's my 'how they got together' story (just spread out over four parts).

I don't know. I've never been one for writing smut-I always prefer the sweet. Besides, I don't think Brooke's going to make it until then

There is absolutely nothing wrong with sweet, funny smut!fluff. Well, in my opinion at least. It's a favourite of mine that I don't get to read nearly often enough. Just sayin'.

So many fics. I'm looking forward to them all - especially the ring fiasco one, cannot wait for that one. Even if it isn't smut it seems weird to bypass New Years. *just wants to find out what was in that damn bag*

You've inspired me. I think I will combine their first time into one that spans over the next couple of days and includes New Years. So I will try my hand at smut. Okay, I have actually written smut before, but I think I used a pseudonym : )
