So I guess I'm gonna be like everyone else and reflect on my summer and tell how the first day of school went.
Summer '04:
It was interesting and not the best. I grew apart from someone who was very close to me. It's hard to see your best friend go on a downward spiral and pretty much begin to ruin her life. It was hard to just kinda sit back and watch because talking to her was no use. She didn't care to listen to me at all. That made the summer kind of hard. I spent too much time depressed. But then on the other hand and I got to know a great group of girls who I'm getting closer and closer to everyday. I also got to continue to hang out with my awesome group of guy friends who I can be myself around and can talk to almost as good as any girl. (keyword being almost :-)) I started cheerleading at school too. As hard as a decision as it was it was a good one. I had a lot of fun and got a chance to get to know so many people I wouldn't have if I had chosen to stick with Chicago Elite. So I had a lot of fun times so and I definatly enjoyed just relaxing and hanging around the house too.
But now school is here. In terms of homework, I can just tell I'm gonna have a ton. I got homework today and it was just a half day. But I have some really cool teachers and a lot of good people in my classes. With the exception of gym. Blah. But anyways. This year has the potential to be pretty fun.
Now I need to finish my speech for spanish.
And on Friday we have to cheer at Proviso East. Someone just got shot there the other day. I'm scared to go there now. The school is in a badddddd area. :-/
