Random update
I've finished this year's birthday picture for toxicindustry / star_summit / alovelyhaunting, and will show it to her on her birthday.
I re-registered the car for this year. The next required expense is the fitness certificate in November. This gives me a target date by which I should sell the car. With some repair work on the bumpers and some new rear shocks, it should be quite all right. I will try to replace it with a van or a station wagon.
Meanwhile, I haven't driven the car since Tuesday evening. I had a device repaired last weekend that should reduce my petrol consumption. It's called a bicycle, and I've ridden it to work for three days straight, and I rode it to the tax office this morning.
I drew a picture for Valentine's Day and submitted it to dA on the morning thereof. It's not cynical, either. I must be growing senile in my old age...
Tomorrow, I am going to ride the bicycle for what will be my longest ride since the bicycle was repaired. I am going to ride to the bicycle shop and have everything looked at, including the brakes and the tuning of the rear wheel, which are the only problems I've had so far.
I also hope to hit the hobby shops (if I can find them) and see if I can find some model aeroplanes to assemble, and maybe to paint. I especially hope to find a Spitfire.
