Strange things
The internet connection at home is not working. Interestingly enough, I got back an internet connection at my desk at work last week. This is where I'm typing this from. My IS provider said yesterday evening that they would send a techician in 48 - 72 hours. Yay.
This morning I heard a soca song on the radio that I hadn't heard in a long time. Normally I don't like soca music and *really* don't like dancehall-soca crossovers, but this one is an exception. It is "Ragga Ragga" by Red Plastic Bag. The soca singer complains that, although he likes dancehall music, he cannot understand what the dancehall artistes are saying and all he hears is "ragga ragga ragga ragga...". (I am thankful for the term "artiste", because I would not call a performer of dancehall a "singer", as that would be an insult to people who sing.)
