I'm glad it turned out to be a good day for all of you.

Your comment that your Mum always says it's a surprise when you arrive brings back memories for me. That's very similar to what my Mum always said.

There's little distinction between visits, really - 'every day is Mother's Day'. And as you know, they become sweeter and more poignant as time goes by. (((Maewyn)))

it was the one, simple idea that she could hold onto for our whole visit. We were there because we love her. She is loved.

The greatest gift indeed.
