first day of school

Today is my last first day of school. This is more than a new school year for me. It seems more like a new life. I am married, I live in a new city, everything is different this year. better I think. I am sick of mediocrity in my life. i would like to have an edge. Something stunning about me. My faith, my work, my communication skills, my look....I always just feel average. I think I have always felt that way. I wonder if it will ever change. I guess I don't really have much to write about. I should be backing up my back pack, looking for my day planner, or at least taking a shower. But so far all I've done today is facebook and watch the degrassi goes Hollywood movie (which was the best way to say goodbye to summer i could think of). This summer has been amazing! Let me rehash:
July 1st-5th family is all in town, and best friends to top it off
July 5 Wedding (Best day of my life)
July 6-13th Jamaica baby....and lots of Jose:)
July 22- Disneyland
August 12- Universal studios with mom
August 14-19th trip home with Kayla and Jose, see Joni and wildhorses
Many beach days
Many twilight books
I sewed curtains
set up house
shopped with grandma
melting pot with Jose
exploring Pasadena
Nickel visited twice!
This summer kicked butt. I'm sure I am forgetting even more fun stuff. I am so blessed. So here's to a fresh new year. If I'm going to do this I should do it right and get excited about it! Make the most of this last year of education. And emerge triumphant!
