What a weekend
Apoorva came down with a flu type virus last week, which he gave to me. I truly have not been that sick for a long time. So needless to say I didn't do much this weekend. I was stuck in bed most of the time with 102 fever. We did get out yesterday to watch Hellboy. Not the best movie in the world, but I enjoyed it. I love going to the movies here, even if they are horrible movies (which they usually are... they only get the bad ones here for some reason). I think I love going because for two hours everything feels normal. Except for the fact that in the beginning they play the national anthem (which like everything Indian is about 2x as long as it should be) and there is an intermission half way through (even if the movie is 90 minutes long). Then in the evening I spoke with my grandma on Skype for an hour, which always cheers me up.
Today I am spending the day in my room watching movies and reading. Tomorrow I have my first therapist appointment. I found this woman on the internet. I'm hoping it works out.
