This place is dead and occasionally, I miss it.
I have one more semester left of college and then I am moving closer to NYC. Officially, I think I've decided not to move INTO the city because I want to be able to keep my car and drive places. I'm thinking Westchester county. I am excited about it but scared too. Living alone is always scary and it can be boring from time to time.
I am still working at Lane Bryant and St. Jude is done for the summer so I am looking for another job to supplement that.
Just dropped 5 grand on my mouth. That was painful, mostly to my wallet, not so much my mouth. Good dentist.
This weekend we have J's parents' 4th of July party which should be fun. I can be found in his backyard on the swing or the hammock with a beer in hand. Maybe some horseshoes again this year! I'll get to see my party friends that I haven't seen since last year's party and we'll get to hang out with J's sister and her new fiance. It'll be cool if we get to know him better.
Monday we're flying home to Louisiana for a week and a half to see the fam and friends. I'm not excited about the weather there (100s every day) but I am excited to see everyone.
I need some new work clothes, as in blazers and slacks and dress shirts but those will have to wait until things get better.
We watched Wall-E tonight and it was rather cute.
I've been obsessed with Heroes and Harper's Island and to a lesser extent, True Blood. It's hard for me because the accents in True Blood are so bad they make me want to vomit and I've read all the books and wish I hadn't because if I hadn't, I'd like the show more. That was a very run on-y sentence.
Well, I guess that's all and that didn't say much. How is everyone else?
