Do you still remember me? :Þ I haven't posted in a loooong time...
I've been very busy with school, with residence council and other things. It's exam period now and I have just one exam left to go. And I have to hand in some Russian homework...late. Oh well, better late than never.
New and exciting? Hmmm.... I have a new computer...I made a deal with my friend where I'd trade him Russian lessons for guitar lessons...was invited to visit my roommate's family after our last exam day...looking forward to Christmas. I asked for several things I need this year. Including underwear. I feel like now I've been inducted into true life as a student.
I have goldfish now - two in a bowl. I got them during an art experiment called "Leave Something, Take a Fish." There were two cubby holes in the wall; one with empty glasses and one with cups containing goldfish. Actually, the empty glasses weren't empty by the time I got there. Some people had already put stuff there (and taken their fish) before I got there. There were a couple of interesting things there: mostly food wrappers, a button with the name Crystal on it, a red lacy thong. Yes, you read that correctly. So I left the paper stub that went with my baggage when I travelled to Nova Scotia this summer and some post-it notes (blank) that my roommate wanted me to leave. And I got two fish. A typical orange goldfish and a brown one. I'm hoping one is a girl and one's a boy. So far they get along great and today I got them an aerator or whatever it's called for the tank.
Today I went to see an apartment with my friend who I'm going to live with next year. It was somewhat of a disappointment though - there wasn't a living room, just a hallway with three bedrooms, a shower and a kitchen. Also ice cold, the landlord doesn't put the heat up. Keep in mind I live in Canada, although it's southern Canada. Much looking around to be done for living acommodations.
Must do Russian homework tomorrow.
