Dad came home from the hospital yesterday. We're waiting to hear back on the biopsy-- the bleeding came from a growth near the base of his esophagus. Which made it fairly easy to take the ulcerated growth out and get him out of the initial crisis, but until we hear it's benign, everyone is very worried. Esophagal and stomach cancers are very bad. But benign is a real possibility, so I turn my hopes that way.
