Whether it be one of the classics of literature, a steamy romance, or a gripping mystery, everyone enjoys a good novel. But, what with the hectic pace of today's society, who has the time to invest in a 300 page book? Sure, we'd all like to do more recreational reading, but other commitments get in the way. That's why I have thought of the brilliant idea of the single paragraph novel. I will be writing a new one each week. They have all the harrowing twists and turns and lovable characters of the standard novel without the burdensome length.
Here is the first of hopefully many to come. Enjoy!
Horn of Plenty
Linda had always longed to be part of a marching band, but her severe scoliosis kept her from fulfilling her dream. Finally, the stress on her gastrointestinal system became too much to bear. She revealed herself and stepped down. The entire Philharmonic mourned her loss. She had been the finest tuba anyone had ever played.
