.... the Month Of January
Has been amazing.
I have settled down comfortably at my new workplace, met a handful of new colleagues whom I can regard as friends, and looking forward to new adventures :)
My third semester in NIE has also started on the third week (2 more to go!), which explained my MIA presence.
Evening classes twice a week can be a torture, especially when the stomach growls non stop in the midst of discussion. Traffic is always bad to NIE and I barely have time to eat before lessons.
I have never really feel the toughness for the previous semesters. Age must be catching up :S
The only silver lining? There is no written exam for the 2 modules, then again assignments and readings are killing me slowly already.
Anyway, I have also been playing with the idea of doing the dissertation instead of signing up for the last 2 modules. Not that I am really going to do my PhD. Well, nothing is really confirmed yet, its just a thought. And I wanted to see how my GPA fare this term.
But at least its something to ponder on.
Am still hitting the gym too, but not that often.
For the past two weeks, it has been shamelessly nata.
Work is pilling up and nobody really exercise during the festive season dont they? (smile)
WIll resume my 2.5k next week. Timing remains constant at approximately 20mins. I need to brush up on my breathing to reach 18mins.
I will write again this weekend.
went on a movie date with HB before work start officially
made a quick reservation when i heard Cirque De Solei was aired in some of the GV theatre
It was amazing. We didnt get to see the real thing when we were in Vegas, so this is the best we can get :)
went on a learning journey with the school
and spent the rest of the late afternoon shopping aimlessly with the complimentary carpark using my $20 purchase
did soft rebonding at Jeric Bugis on the last Friday when i decided i needed some me time
caught Jersey Boys a day before they ended their Singapore performances
Super pleased we "did" 2 of the Vegas shows we missed in year 2010
And finally, my 3 fav purchases :)
gladiators skyscraper from Pedro, the sale price was crazy
my triple tour in rouge casaque GHW finally!
SF never fails to put a smile on my face, yet to wear them out yet, the soles are too precious for work
