.... the Nails Need Some Hue

Dec 05, 2012 01:38

So right after Dr Tan declared i could go home, I took a day rest and started playing with the new varnishes from Essence the following day :)
Thanks to SIL, she managed to source back the 3 I had initially ruled out and was losing my sleep for
(okie, i lied, i didn't missed my sleep that much)
I decided on the green (Bashful) first. It is a really amazing shade of emerald with a hint of gold dust.
Very easy on its own and subtle enough for work i think.
The gold topper (The Huntsman) just somehow make the whole thing pop even more.
Its major love and they lasted 5 days with no top coat.
But on the other hand, the nudish brown (Sneezy) is disappointing.
The silver dust didn't show out as much and so I thought it was a pretty boring shade.
I used to do these boring safe shades like all the time back when gelish is not invented yet as i wanted to maximize my manicure. But nay, this don't work for me at all :(
I had them removed after a day (well i have nothing else better to do since i was bed resting and ugly manicure resulted in nightmares)
But don't get me wrong, I really like these mini nail color from Essence to do a future repurchase, maybe the Essence TE Crystalliced, if they decided to swim by our sunny shore that is. And maybe the much raved about shadow and bronzer :)

my tiny snow white collection

the gel french mani i have reluctantly removed before the procedure, the classic pedi with applied glitter to match the mani

and because the pedi was ruined by my Melissa, i scoped to just applied the own gold topper for my D&D;
my DIY manicures the entire week when i was bed resting

divine, cheap thrill, diy, review, frugal
