Oog......
Well, my period started JUST before the test and I got cramps. DOH! I ended up passing anyway and got my driver's lisence renewed until 2009. Also wasn't able to drop my paperwork off since the home office is closed on Fridays. Went to the band concert and got to mingle with a few of friends. They were said not to ahve been very good, but I was very proud to listen to the music they played. I was a little envious too, because one of the songs they played I really liked playing when I was in school.
Saturday-
Played my first game of Risk ever with Brandon and Austin! And I would have won had Austin and I not had to be getting home. I was able to talk Dad into getting me (and Austin) a tent to go camping in. Two room and can easily room 5 people comfortably.
Sunday-
Mother's Day. Started off bad. First thing said to me had been a snarl and then I was made to clean the car out when most of the crap had been Bug's stuff. Everyone ended up in a bad mood. Went over to Aunt Wendy and Wally's to see Gramma Fisher and had a Mother's Day brunch with all but the Montezuma group. Bug had to work so she had control of the car for the day. Austin was let off work early but didn't want to come by because he doesn't like the Fisher family. Good thing he didn't too. They were talking politics again. I was able to talk Dad into dropping me off at Austin's for a little while and Bug picked me up.
Mon-
Ended up taking in my paperworl to the home office and found out I wasn't supposed to come in during the morning. Wasted an hour waiting for my manager to come out to the office only to find out she didn't. Went and found out I started work on Wed. Austin had to work so I was able to stay home and chat online with Tracy and Kelly-Anne until the connection shut off.
Tues-
Austin took me to see Van Hellsing. Good movie! Austin got The Legend of Himiko and we watched it. About the time I headed home, he realized that he had wanted to go to the SCA. Oh well.
Wed.-
Woke up around 6:00ish with Mom yelling at me. Followed by Bug calling me up saying I needed to call Dad. Called Dad and he said I was actually supposed to call Mom. Called Mom and she jsut wanted to make sure I was up. Afterwards, Mrs. Olsen calling to talk to Bug and I gave up trying to sleep. Started working at McDonald's at 11:00, just in time to start working when two buses and lunch rush began. Was taught how to run the fry cooker, refill the fry hopper (the machine that measures the fries), where the fries are kept and a bit about keeping the fry area clean. They had me mop the lobby and then sent me home. Went to pick up deoderant and then took a nap while I waited for Austin to get home. Went out gaming. Kyle had a thespian dinner, so he wasn't sure if he'd show. So Kirk, Brandon, Austin and I played a game of Risk while we waited. Kyle didn't end up showing. Needless to say, I won-- even though we didn't finish the game cuz of time-- and found out on the way home, I had unknowingly hurt Austin's pride, which in turn hurt me. I felt bad, being the pleaser I am, and appologized and then felt bad for appoligizing. I then discovered that I'm not quite happy with myself, but I'm getting there.
Thurs-
Woke up about 4:30 with Cash rummaging around the room and then again at about 6:30 when it began to thunder and lightning. Put him in his crate and called Austin since I forgot the deoderant and the other stuff I bought on the floor of the passenger side of his car. He dropped it off-- what a sweetie-- right after the brunt of the storm went through, thankfully. Went back to bed until 9:00. The day was a little better than yesterday. I ended up over heating and nearly getting sick working at the fryer. They had me scooping fries as well as dropping fries. Also mopped the lobby again, and found out they'll probably have me running solo on fries even during the lunch rush. Thankfully, or shall I say hopefully, there'll be no buses popping around during it like Wed. From the feel of it, I'll hafta start bringing painkillers to help with my backaches and my muscle aches. I'm not used to all the lifting and carrying and scooping fresh, hot fries. After I got off work, went to Austin's and took a nap before we went inside. We snuggled and eventually both of us took a brief nap. Then we went and ate at BeBop's and saw Kill Bill 2. Not bad, tho some parts didn't quite click but oh well. Really like the part where Elle used the black momba-- nestled among the million dollars-- on Bud and the part where Beatrix took Elle's eye out during the swordfight. Went to bed early so I could get up and wash my hair in the morning.
Today-
My feet hurt so bad! But I know if I were to call in sick, I wouldn't be able to live it down-- thanks for being such an ass about that, Dad. Oh well. At least I can go: "YAY! No more period!" I just hope I can handle working the fries alone today during rush. Tired too but hey, I can nap later while waiting for Austin or I can go home and nap, either or. ANyways, off to work.
