it's just damned weird...
Every year that the APP conference occurs, I open my LJ. Not because it is on some calendar to remember LJ, just because I kind of sit down and tractor beam myself over here. Somewhere inside I check this each year at the same time period.
This year we did not go to Vegas. There were complications keeping us from it.
Life is so different now.
I have been in Portland OR for close to 4 yrs now...it will be four as of my birthday in August.
I have now been a non-smoker for 7 years and will continue this.
I am starting to exercise more often and I am watching my diet...as in my nutritional intake.
I am 40 and have a serious job in a semi-serious industry.
I am beginning to believe that money does not mean everything...I know that it is easy to say that, but to find out by making more than you have ever been used to...to live an empty, lonely life...well it opens your eyes.
I guess we will see if I make it by here next year.
Before I go I will look at some other pages...and then poof.
