Loving Netflix!

The main reason why I initially signed up for Netflix was for their online content.

Right now, I get 1 DVD out at-a-time, and unlimited online watching. (Mostly older shows, like Xena, Doctor Who (oldWHO and some newWHO), other BBC shows, older movies, some newer movies, etc.)

Then I got thinking.

Why not see if there's a Netflix for books? And there is. Actually, to be more precise, there are several. However, the best seems to be BookSwim (I have no idea why they called it that), with rental plans that are somewhat pricey (not enough demand?) but nothing prohibitive.

This week, your first month is 9.95 on any plan. The most attractive plan for me is the 3 at-a-time, at 23.95 a month. (I would simply go for 1 book at-a-time, but that plan is for 1 book a month, which, if you know me, just wouldn't work.)

I'm not sure if I want to do it, but seeing as how I've yet to go to the regular library, and it's been 3+ months, this might be a solution. Maybe.

I'm going to keep thinking about it.

opinion, movies, books
