we're off again
This morning we're taking off for Istanbul. I am absolutely thrilled! Of course it doesn't seem quite real yet - in spite of our packed bags by the door. I'm putting in a couple of hours of work, and then I'm turning it OFF for two weeks.
I'll be seeing history, eating fabulous food, and taking tons of pictures. Turkey here we come! If I can I'll post something here, or on FB- but I'm not expecting the greatest internet connections. Right now I don't even care- I just want to explore new places with Al. When we have down time I want to sit around, or read a book, or write in my journal- it'll be really good to have a technology detox [we'll see if I can swing that, the temptation is strong- so here's hoping the internets are not...]. No matter what it'll be a fabulous time- I'm ready for some real summer weather before we swing into Fall.
