On Vox: Exploring Berkeley

Lately I've been getting out a lot more to explore my neighborhood, thanks to my new bike.

One of my favorite discoveries has been the Fish House! I didn't realize that was it's official name, but that's what I thought of when I saw it. Perhaps you can see why from the photo.

I just did a bit of research on it, and found that the architect is local. His name is Eugene Tsui, and he built the house for his parents. I found a cool article on the Fish House with a bit of research.

I only wish the site had more pictures of the inside! I love the fact that the fins generate radiant heat for the house, and that the giant bubbles on the side and house provide light.
