So yeah. It snowed. It snowed a lot.
It started snowing pretty hard on Wednesday night, and when did it stop? Yesterday night.
About 2.5 feet of snow I think. In some places it comes up to your crotch (I hate that word). This makes it difficult to leave for Spring Break, which begins today (Happy Birthday Mallory!). The campus was actually pretty much forbidden to leave on Thursday or Friday, which I don't have a problem with, because if you're trying to drive in Iowa when there is a 2 day blizzard with 40+ mph winds when there is nothing in the landscape to break the winds and even the snow plows give up, you probaby aren't smart enough to be in college anyway. Kind of like the people who don't wear hats when it's -22 out. Something like 90% of roads in Iowa were closed (illegal to travel on, if you get stuck, you're stuck, the tow trucks won't come out and help you), and it's getting a little better, but my trip to Texas is very much delayed, and that's ok too. I don't mind waiting.
I heard that there have been a lot of accidents in the midwest and something awful about a baseball team from Ohio, but otherwise, I haven't heard much. How much has it snowed in Wisconsin?
