Winter is Coming

Winter is coming. Thank God.

My dreams, may that be as sweet and gratifying as they were at the beginning of this year.
I want freedom from all this light and shadow. It confuses me.
Grant me darkness and winter's cold kisses on my lips and cheeks.
Grant me snow to play in... to lay in .... to dream in.
May I be caressed as I was in the time of the two currents.
So sensual..... so bitterly cold and taking.
May water and wind pierce my fortitude.
May I be allowed to recuperate looking out on the world as I did as child from my bed
I miss my sweet and punishing Lady L'hiverra......
I miss winter lovemaking.

Summer is dying fast.
I will not mourn her passing.

Autumn is coming to harvest the illusions of merriment, warmth and light from the uninitiated.
Depression and isolation, for them,  is at hand.
And as the nights grow longer and the skys grey with somber salutations
I smile.
Winter is coming you see.
And as they all seek shelter and retire to the years end sleep
I awaken.

To live my dream
Beyond the veil of frozen tears
In Winters white robes I play
For at Years End
I begin.
