CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character's name: Lucifer

Brief history of your character (100-200 words): Lucifer, also known as Samael (before his fall), or in common
vernacular as The Devil or Satan, is the second oldest Archangel. Only
Michael is older. When God created Man, Lucifer refused to bow down
before them, finding them unworthy and destructive of God's beautiful
creation. He then led a third of the Heavenly host in a rebellion
against Heaven and God. He was eventually defeated by Michael and cast
(along with his followers) into Hell. From that point forward, Lucifer
did everything in his power to pervert and destroy humanity, until he
was forcibly locked in a Cage in the lowest level of Hell, from where he
could do minimal harm to Humanity. After Ruby and Lilith succeeded in freeing him from the cage, Lucifer began completing the tasks that would bring on the apocalypse (binding Death, etc.). He finally convinced Sam Winchester (his true vessel) to say 'yes', and took over his body. He met Michael on the field of Armageddon (Stull Cemetery), but Sam's memories of his brother, and his deep love for him allowed him to gain control of Lucifer for just long enough to throw himself back in the cage. Lucifer appears a few months after he and Sam were thrown back into the cage.
Brief synopsis of your character's personality (100-300 words): Lucifer's personality has been twisted and distorted from years of
torment and despair. Originally the brightest of angels, Lucifer is
intelligent, wise, and soft-spoken. He is also very much a free thinker,
and can be prideful and egotistical. One of his biggest failings is his
pride; the fact that he questioned God's plan when it came to Humanity,
and thought he knew better than God what was best for God's creation.
The years of Hell have made him vengeful, and hateful. Hate, however, is
not the opposite of love - that is indifference. He feels very deeply,
and still grieves his Fall. There is nothing he wants more than to
return to Heaven, but he knows that cannot happen without him repenting
sins that he does not feel that he committed. He still believes in the
cause he Fell for, and feels very betrayed that he was cast out of
Heaven for trying to defend God and his creation. He is capable of great
evil and great wrong, but he was - and still is - an angel, and also
capable of great kindness, if he feels himself drawn that way. He does
not kill or torture without reason. He both hates and is disgusted by
demons and evil creatures, as befits an angel, and he still loves God
and his brothers who have not fallen. He is convinced that eventually
God will see that he was right all along, and pardon him.
What
is your character's sexual orientation? (Bear in mind that any sexual
orientation is welcome, but must be supported by or unknown/ambiguous in
canon - see Rules and FAQ): Lucifer is entirely asexual. In fact, he finds the idea of having sexual relations with humans absolutely repugnant.
GAME SPECIFIC INFORMATION
What is the point of your character's canon in which you are introducing your character?: Between Seasons 5 and 6 - Lucifer has been in the cage with Sam for a few months.
Is your character alive or dead at the point of entry to the game?: He's alive, although that doesn't quite mean the same thing for him as it does for humans.
What skills does your character have?: Other than his supernatural skills (which will of course not exist in the game) Lucifer is a very talented 'people person.' He is very good at influencing and manipulating people, and planting those few ideas into their heads that lead them to sin. He can, when he wants to be, be incredibly, incredibly charming, and even likable, but in a moment can also be very cruel. Because of his age, he is very wise, and is better than humans at seeing 'the big picture.'
When
your character is shown to his/her room, he/she will find up to ten
personal items belonging to them, which the Hotel has supplied. These
things can ONLY be things they would typically have in canon. This will
be known as his/her initial personal inventory. Please list what these
things would be:
Lucifer will have very little, as there is very little he would have had in his possession when he was thrown into the cage. Basically, he's just going to have the clothes on his back.

The light was the first thing he noticed.
The cage, in which he had been trapped for the last three months (thirty years in Hell) had been pitch black, with only flashes of fire and sounds of screaming and despair to keep one separate from the abyss of silence and darkness. Lucifer, despite what the popular media and mythology said about him, was most definitely not a creature of darkness. It had been forgotten in the reams of libel that had been written about him, but he was first and foremost an angel. An archangel. Lucifer, the light bringer, had been the most beautiful of God's archangels, and in his heart he could still feel the warmth and glory that was Heaven, his home. It would always be his home, even when he was imprisoned in Hell - the complete antithesis of everything he was, and everything he held dear.
He did not open his eyes for a moment, but breathed in the fresh air, which was hot and arid, but upon which floated the smells of freedom and life. It erased from his mind the smell of burning and rotting flesh that had become so common place to him, and made that small and simple smell a small heaven in his mind. The grass beneath him was soft, and a faint breeze ruffled his hair. His eyes still closed, he exhaled, and inhaled again deeply, taking a long moment to enjoy the beauty of his Father's creation. There was nothing like it; and that was the very reason he had stood up against the humans that had - and would - wreak such havoc on this last perfect creation of God. And God must have seen that. His Father must finally have seen the truth and freed him from his torment, pulling him back to Heaven and embracing him once again in the golden fields of Heaven.
Expecting to find himself at home, he opened his eyes to a place he had never seen before. He was in front of a strange building that appeared to be a hotel. He stood, confused, his eyes darting around the landscape, all of which was completely unfamiliar to him. He looked at himself then, and frowned. He was very obviously on Earth, but he was in his True Form. Well, mostly. He was smaller - human sized, and didn't appear in the least bit angelic. He looked like...he looked like Sam Winchester. Sam Winchester, his true vessel, had been bred from the dawn of time to look like him. . It had been destined since the beginning, and those who had been able to see his true form had seen its replication in Sam. It was a coming home, of sorts, to possess Sam. They fit perfectly, because they were made for each other. Literally.
Brushing the dust from his white suit, he made his way towards the entrance, hoping that there would be answers awaiting him inside.
