The English version of pokemon diamond will not be released until next year. The Japanese version however will be released in a few more weeks (in Japan only), I guess they don't really want to share it. Selfish! I've been waiting for that stupid game for two months! So okay, i havent waited that long but it's pokemon, the dumbest and probably the biggest phenomena in the gaming world. Even adults dig it! I really have to learn how to speak Japanese, they have all the good stuff. I'm not exactly crazy about Japan, but the fact that they manufacture a hell lot of videogames makes studying their language absolutely worth it. That reminds me, I also want to read Haruki's books in Japanes, I'm not a big fan of him although I've read three of his books in English (Kafka, south of the border west of the sun, and Norwegian wood) . The English translation was not able to completely capture the essence of the language Haruki used so it's almost useless to read it--you'll probably just love the story or the characters. So right now, I can't exactly judge what kind of writer Haruki is and I can't claim that I loved his works. All I can say is he wrote beautiful stories but how about how he wrote them? Not all words in the world can be translated to English..
