I'm not at all surprised by sexist comments and notions. All men are sexists; squealing, running, punching or doing anything like a girl is, for them, humiliating. On the other hand, when women play sports or do anything manly, it's commendable. Playing like a man is good, playing like a woman is, well, bad. 'Weak' is a word too often used to describe the female sex. 'Dumb' is making it's way to replace it. Who's surprised? Feminists perhaps. The thing is, it's not just the men build up the image of a woman as meat, we ourselves pose as meats. Posing for Playboy has become an 'honor'. Painting, piano playing, reading and learning the arts have been replaced by shopping, collecting posters of Hannah Montana and laying out clothes on the bed to find out what to wear tomorrow. There are more girls who dream of being Paris Hilton or Hannah Montana than girls who dream of being an essayist, a chemist or doctor. Yes, there are smart women out there who grew up to be olympic players, writers and politicians but which group has more fans. Even literature is penetrated by a hormone-driven woman who used her poor imagination instead of heart and mind to create a teen tickler book--Twilight. Stephenie Meyer focused on tickling teenage girls' fancy with her vampire-fell-in-love-with-human novel that offers nothing but bad grammar and mild eroticism to keep the girls reading. And when a woman enters politics, a fellow woman is sure to offer her dumb, demeaning opinion. Just take a look at Brooke Hogan's comments on Hillary Clinton;
"You know what? I am actually not that much into voting. I think it's kinda crazy that a woman is running, because I think that women deal with a lot of emotions and menopause and PMS and stuff. Like, I'm so moody all the time, I know I couldn't be able to run a country, 'cause I'd be crying one day and yelling at people the next day, ya know?"
The question you have to ask is; Is she a f*cking retard? Firstly, if she stops taking those birth control pills, her hormones won't be as f*cked up as she claims. Secondly, I'm as old as she is, I only get 3-4 periods a year, still, I don't let my screwed up hormones make my decisions. Thirdly, there are countries with female presidents, for example, my country. Fourthly, the only reason she's moody and crying all the time is that she's too dumb work out a microwave to feed her bloated ass.
As long as women consider posing for Playboy an honor, get famous through their sex tapes, think other women can't be politicians, write senseless books about romantic vampires and shopping, sexism will continue to be just 'okay'. Paris Hilton, Stephenie Meyer, Brooke Hogan and Playboy playmates--your existence justify sexism!
