i'm BAAACK....but i left my voice in the philippines...
Yup...no voice....well i do have a hoarse, airy hotline voice....and an uneven, sunburnt tan...ahahha
highlights of the trip....
-flying...what an experience...boo to the food though...75% of it had mushrooms in them...
-meeting my cool relatives....really they are super cool!! i wanted to take them with me back to canada
-visiting the island of boracay....riding a tricycle...white beaches, jumping with the waves...night life...hiking through the forest in chinelas...puka beach....lovely shells...mango shakes...met some native children...got a swedish massage...ahahhaah....went clubbing at cocomangas...danced for all of twenty minutes...ate dinner with the mayor and vice mayor of boracay...
-the food was amazing! and fruits are so yummy...i miss sineguelas and mangoes and pineapples....and lots of halo halo
-caliraya...we went fishing at a lake on top of a mountain...i caught the second biggest fish!!! woohoo!
-tagaytay...saw a volcano....wonderful view...
-playing tongits...seriously addictive game...gambled with my relatives and won like $235 in pesos....i will teach it to you all! muahahahaha
-intramuros...went to a spanish fort and rode in a carriage thingy....we thought the horse was going to die with three of us in the carriage and we thought there were ghosts...ahhahah...
-palenke....shopping at the market was fun....and the food is so cheap...holy crap seafood!! and fruits...oh yummy fruits...
-serenade....i got serenaded at a restaurant thanks to my family...hahaha....they sang "because of you"...by keith martin...english version of dahil sayo...so nice...that song always reminds me of the philippines now
-21st birthday celebration at Valle Verde...hahaha...all the streets are named after fruits and vegetables...its the equivalent of bridal path in toronto...even have security....confession: i've become girly...i got a pedicure and manicure...it was weird...celebration was fun....relatives came all the way from mindoro...my uncle is the mayor of mindoro....lots of really nice relatives...and young aunts...ahhaahaa....it was an amazing party..
