I've noticed/realized that men here (in Philly) have some kind of weird fascination of tattooing their children's names onto themselves. Or even tattooing something on themselves for other people (in memory of most often). I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I've just never met so many people in one place that do this. I guess it all depends on where you are. And the tattooing of their kids names is somewhat loving of them, it shows they think about their children in a world where so many are abandoned. I have respect for them now, because even when I asked about the tattoo they spoke with that look in their eyes that said their children meant the world to them. That's always a good sign.
I've noticed that even piercings are different here. Nobody here has ever seen a tragus piercing. But if you go to Guelph you'd see them everywhere. I think it's kinda cool, that there are places where something is more common and places where no one would think of getting it done.
In other news my new favorite song:
King of Anything - Sara Bareilles
I wish I could sing better so that when I sing along I wouldn't ruin it. :P
