i should really be in class but i just couldn't bring myself to step out of the house

i feel it coming. that itch in my fingers that means i want to write something. i need to revise some stories for my creative writing class. i know i have like two weeks to work on them but i figure the sooner the better to get them out of the way. so knowing that the itch to write is coming makes me happy. but i'm going to wait until i can't stand to not write. then i know i can get it done quickly and well. i want to build up that need so that when i use it i won't run out of steam halfway through the story and just give up. i think it's a valid plan.

in other news my christmas shopping is well on it's way. if i can find a way to get my busy ass to the mall at some point this week i should be able to finish the majority of it and then not have to worry about it. then my goal of being done by December may actually be achieved. that would be ridiculously sweet.
