a clearly needed update
summer is as summer is once again. far too hot and humid for my tastes, filled with work and sleep and So You Think You Can Dance - ness. i work first shift this time around. that's 7 am to 3 pm. the only thing i really mind about it is the fact that for me to get there the required five minutes early in order to take over the person from third shift is that it means i have to awake at 6 am, which is just a horrible time to wake up in my personal opinion.
John is talking to me again. he's an older man with a daughter somewhere out there in the world. he's quite entertaining to talk to and it gives me someone to speak to during the day.
Russel (or for those who remember him as Ray) doesn't talk to me at all at the moment. apparently i insulted him, twice to boot, somehow in whatever it is i said last time to him. i don't recall saying anything particularly bad, seeing as that wouldn't be me, but i did ... apparently. though he won't tell me what. all he said was "i know what happened and i think you do to" and that's the last thing i heard from him ... that was on tue. i've given up. if a grown man wants to act like a little child he can, i won't be a part of it.
as for news i'm off to Vancouver today! i'm so excited to see Nader again. talking with him on the phone the other night made me kinda giddy to the point where i woke up early the next morning all happy and whatnot. i leave in about 10 min to catch a train that will take me to the airport. then i have to hop onto two planes to get there by about 5:22 (Vancouver time) pm. he'll be waiting for me and apparently we're off to watch Indiana Jones tonight.
i need much more sleep than i seem to be getting. somehow i can find my way to bed by 12 every night but when i have to wake up at 6 am the next day it's not enough sleep for me at times. i'm very glad that now i get a break and hope that Nader doesn't wake up THAT early in the morning
well that's that. off to my train!
