I joined LJ, when everyone was leaving YahooGroups, to keep up with all the HP fanfic writers and their stories. Now it seems that everyone is jumping ship, and I wonder if it's even worth my time to open an account at either IJ or GJ. (Thinking that y'all will jump ship two years down the road again... if anyone is even interested in HP at that

Hmm... have been feeling the same way lately. Mostly cause I don't have anyone to talk over ideas with anymore. But it'll pass I'm sure. I did move over to IJ as well, and it's really friendly over there right now. Several communities are hosting friending frenzies and other welcome activities. So we'll see I guess.

So don't despair, I was excited that you friended me today, and I friended you back. ;)

I checked out your info at TSS2 and found that you had a spot here. I'm so interested in seeing where you go with 'The Black Legacy' that I thought this might be the best way to keep up.

I've been reading and re-reading the chapters you've already posted and think I could almost recite it word for word in sections.

For what it's worth, I'm not going anywhere. I've got almost four years here, and my journal is about more than just fandom, so I'm not all that inclined to give up what is essentially my life.

That said, I do have journals at both IJ and GJ, just for the sake of keeping up with the folks that are moving. I may not want to post at a bunch of different blogs, but scanning a few friends lists isn't so bad. :)
