After a crazy week at work, I decided to go tonight to see Fast & Furious 6 and I'm really glad I did. It was an awesome movie and an awesome audience. I really like how they tied in the other movies as well as set up for the next one. And Tej's "Samoan Thor" joke re: Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) never gets old.
And I loved the throwbacks to the other movies, especially The Fast & The Furious and even vindicated ...Tokyo Drift (the third one) a bit for me, even if it meant changing a part of it. All of it was just awesome and amazing. And now I wish that David Tennant had been cast as Shaw, because I would've liked to see what he would've done with the character. Don't get me wrong - I liked Luke Evans a lot and thought he did a great job as the villian, but I can't see David in that role.
Also, regardless of what you might think, the first time I saw this commercial was earlier this week, so obviously had no bearing on my desire to get a Dart.
