The brother and I went to see a Flyers game tonight for my birthday.
We actually had a good conversation on the way up - which surprised me greatly (and made me really happy). We got there a few minutes into the game because I had to work until six, but that's okay.
The Flyers won over the NY Islanders 6-2 (two goals each by Richards, Carter, and Giroux). The refs stopped a couple of fights before anything could get started, but the Flyers dropped two Islanders by checking them (one with a shoulder check). But we did get a fight in the third period when one of the Islanders took out his own goalie, a Flyer, and the goal.
