OMG, I love Dame Judy Dench as M.
And so far I'm liking Pierce Brosnan as Bond. (I'm watching GoldenEye.)
And I love this exchange between the two of them:
M: You don't like me, Bond. You don't like my methods. You think I'm an accountant, a bean counter who's more interested in my numbers than your instincts.
James Bond: The thought had crossed me.
M: Good, because I think you're a sexist, misogynist dinosaur. A relic of the Cold War, who's boyish charms, though wasted on me, obviously appealed to the young lady I sent out to evaluate you.
James Bond: Point taken.
Q: Need I remind you, Bond, you have a license to kill, *not* to break the traffic laws.
I'm rather amused that this Bond movie is the first to be rated PG-13. All the others were PG. (And most, if not all, I was going, "Are you serious? Why is this not PG-13?")
Today was a good day. Did the normal morning routine. While at Panera, I rewatched Different For Girls. I love that movie.
Used a coupon and went to the movies this afternoon. I saw Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. I quite enjoyed the movie and I highly recommend it.
