And I knew I should've checked the mail when I got home. My dad found out about the speeding ticket because three different law firms sent me letters in case I needed representation. And he put up a bit of a fuss about me not telling him because I was driving his truck at the time. Well, in a way I can understand that, but other than that I honestly don't see what the fuss was. Aside from the fact that I was speeding, I was driving safely, I don't have to appear in court, and I took care of paying the ticket right away (though I forgot to write down the ticket number or make a copy of it before sending it back). So, in a way, I'm glad he now knows and stuff, but at the same time it's like, "See? This is why I didn't want you to find out." (Honestly, I think if my dad found out my brother got a speeding ticket, there'd have been less of a fuss.)

In other news, libralyte and I have been having a good time. We went to the beach on Tuesday and had a very nice time, even if it was cloudy. Then Wednesday (yesterday), we went to the Delaware Museum of Natural History, which was lots of fun and which I haven't been to since I was little (or so my dad says, I don't remember going). Last night we watched The Notorious Bettie Page and She's the Man (and Amanda Bynes is probably the cutest thing ever). I had to work today (:-() so she hung out in town. Tonight we watched Totally Awesome.

Clear Channel to sell. Hmmm. Maybe this will mean good things for the Common Rotation guys and the other indie acts out there.

Could this be classified as a step in the right direction?
