A/N: My first Sam/Castiel fanfic ever. It's unbeta'd and I'm Swedish so feel free to point out any mistakes I've made. Also this fic feels as if it is an extract from a longer one, but I couldn't come up with enough plot for that. So, basically, it's just a small scenario that wouldn't leave my brain alone. The title is from Christian Kjellvander's Poppies and Peonies, though I've changed the pronouns.
