Thank you very much for the appreciative comment. I am working from the novels rather than the television series, which apparently differ in certain plot and character details. My writing style is really a vague attempt at approximating Alexander McCall Smith's prose.

As for Note...well, when he finally appeared in the novels, I *immediately* thought "Angelus". The parallels are eerie.

Absolutly wonderful. I love the no 1 ladies detective books but I never would have thought of this particular crossover, and it merges so well with events in both series. Your writing makes it feel like a part of one of the novels. I can't wait to see where you go from here.....i am just imagining a meeting between Xander and Mma Ramotswe. Keep Writing
