challenge { seven little somethings
♡ Welcome to sam_and_cat’s first challenge, titled Seven Little Somethings. We’re very excited to be hosting challenges here, and we’re hoping you’d like to participate, maybe even spread the word so more people will join in on the fun! The sign-up sheet and rules are under the cut; happy writing!
Sign-Up: Thursday, June 27 → Sunday, June 30
Posting: Monday, July 1 → Wednesday, July 3
The Mods will announce the winner by Friday, July 5th.
1. Seven Little Somethings is a drabble challenge in which members will write 100 → 300 word responses to a list of seven prompts. Please keep in mind that these can be written in any order. The prompts are as follows:
+Stickers
+Board Games
+Post-It Notes
+Makeup
+Blanket Fort
+Popsicles
+Panties
2. As long as you utilize the prompt word, your fanfiction can be any pairing, any rating, and within any time-frame. However, your fanfiction cannot exceed 300 words. If your original draft exceeds the word limit, you will simply have to condense it. The easiest way to do this is to take out unnecessary adjectives or to use conjunctions, as they only count as one word.
3. When posting your entries, please create a new post on the community with a compiled draft of all your drabbles. If you post your entry onto the community itself, you must have your drabbles under a cut. Otherwise, you may link to a separate journal, as long as the entry is available for everyone to see. Your format should look something like this:

The prize is a 1000~ word fic for the prompt of your choosing, so make sure you fill out the prompt line! In order to ensure you’ve read the rules, you must write the word giraffe in the spot that says code word. Have fun!
