It's been so long
Oh wow. Sometimes I forget about this thing entirely, I'm surprised they don't delete people who don't use their account. So let's see the last time I updated was about a year ago and so much has happened since then. I'm not with Josh anymore, haven't been in about a year. He got to a point where he just didn't know what he wanted in life anymore and nothing I did could make him happy and we were always going back and forth, one minute he wanted to spend his life with me, the next he just didn't know. Then it escaladed out of control to where he actually hit me and after a while I just fell out of love with him and ended that. I haven't spoken to him, he's too emotional for me and I'm happier now. I learned a lot from our relationship which has helped me with my new one, er semi-new one.
His name is Devin. He's 22 years old, he'll be 23 this December. He's a manager at Circle K and we've been dating for almost 8 1/2 months and it's been bliss. I really like the way our relationship is, we started out just seeing each other for about three months and then we became exclusive. After almost six months of dating we finally said I love you, but I fought it every last bit of the way. I was real hesitant to give another man my heart, but it's been better. And we just recently touched base on a potential future for us, but the difference is it's not something we dwell upon. I like our relationship because it feels like an actual adult relationship, we're both kids on the inside and we have our fights here and there but other than that our relationship is so mellow and we're both in no rush to get anywhere. I met him through Breann and Fred, I actually met him October of 2005 and he was totally hitting on me but I wasn't interested because I was with Josh. Then I met him again two weeks before Halloween when I was tripping out on pills and I wasn't interested then either because I just wanted to go back to the party and get high. Then I went to his Halloween party and that's when we actually hit it off. He was with another girl at the time but he spent the whole night with me and gave me his phone number. The next day I text him and he invited me over and everything else is history. And I love him, he makes me so happy and he's gone out of his way to do so too. His whole family loves me, his mother refers to me as her daughter in law and his cousin considers me family too.
Aside from that, I recently moved out of my parents house for good. I'm living in a really nice apartment off Catalina Highway and Tanque Verde with Marisol and Amanda. It's really expensive but it's such a nice place to live and we've really made it look nice. That has its ups and downs, we're all different and sometimes we don't see eye to eye but we always overcome it. But I think when our lease is up I will probably move out on my own or maybe just with Marisol, who knows? If Devin is ready in nine months I think we could make living together work, and by that point we'll have been together for over a year and a half. I can't wait to turn 21 though, I hate not being able to go out to the bars with Devin and his family. OH speaking of which, just recently turned 20, that was better than my last birthday but still not quite the same. I got to spend it with some really cool people getting trashed and swimming haha. And I'm working two jobs at 50+ hours a week, sometimes it's really hard but I do what I have to do to pay the bills. So that's an update I guess...
