Ringing in the new season with drums and brass and woodwinds!

Tonight is a quiet one. The guy at the bagel shop liked that; he saw the movie I rented and applauded it. Now I'm listening to The Rite of Spring with all the lights out and am writing this. I'm going to make a photo and caption entry tonight.

Thrilled for Prague next summer with April! After college I'm thinking of getting a TEFL certificate and teaching English in a foreign country, the top choices being (in no particular order): the Czech Repulic, South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong.

The next book I plan on reading. The copy I found (and this is what it looks like) had a book plate with my great grandma's signature inside.

The original set for scene one of The Rites of Spring.

Pretty much how I spent my summer.

Winter: feel free to come early. (Main Street in Ridgefield)

SUPER FANTASTIQUE! Bouchon Bakery @ Columbus Circle.

Much better.

My final thoughts.

For the next two weeks I'm taking it easy. August is a slow month for restaurants and nobody is hiring. Rather than pestering places and feeling uncomfortable to reapply I'm just going to read and watch movies until school starts. That's the plan SUCKAHS.
