Well GHP is absolutely incredible. I'm not going to write for long about it because I'd rather be outside, but... wow. I've met so many awesome people here already. I've got a few regular tennis partners, a bunch of table tennis partners (you haven't played ping pong until you've played with the asians...), and a some people to play music with. I met a djembe player in one of the seminars, and together we managed to find a fiddler, a mandolin, a vocalist, and a bodhranist. It's so much fun getting together and playing celtic tunes, and we always gather a big audience.
Oh, and I minored in flute - that's gonna be great. There are only 7 other woodwind minors, so we each get a lot of (free) individual tuition. That's always good:-). Apart from that, I've been doing pretty much everything the program has to offer - running, yoga, weightlifting, salsa dancing... I love trying new things. might even go to a southern baptist church next sunday to get the full "south georgia experience".. haha.
I was a bit afraid because amy was in my major, but it's worked out great - we don't share any classes. We never see each other after majors because it seems like she's spending most of her time holed up doing math on the computer anway... whatever. I don't care at all anymore. =)
