3 day weekend :D
Yes, our half term/mid term break; whatever you want to call it. Anyhow, we get one day off. Unlike most places that get a week or something, we just get Monday! Still, I'm not complaining. I'm very grateful for this one day. It seems ages since we went back after Xmas....
This weekend is going to be pretty good. Somehow I have to find time to write an essay on "Measure for Measure" though. Probably tomorrow morning, if I get up early. I should really. I guess I also should begin to study history since I have my mock in less than 2 weeks. I should be really motivated, but I'm not. I mean, I'm doing my actual work in a kind of motivational way, but I can't for this exam. Maybe it's cos I know it doesn't count for anything. Wouldn't surprise me.
Anyway, tomorrow I have the Kaiser Chiefs concert :) (second time lucky hopefully!) So that's going to be late...it doesn't start until 10pm. I'm staying at my mate's tomorrow. Then Sunday is Carnival :D:D:D Huuuge parade, loads of music in the streets, dancing....maybe a touch of alcohol :P Who knows. So I'm going out then too. That's going to be a really late night too. Good though. We're going out in a huge group of people, from my class and from the class below. Plus some guys that play tennis at this club we eat lunch at every day which is next to my school. I'm not dressing up though, don't worry :P
Aannnd....I'm going to Valencia in just under a month!! There's 4 of us going, 3 girls and a guy for this huge party/fireworks thing. Its going to be awesome. Just us for in my friend's aunts house....Kind of like a prelude to uni really I guess!!
That's about it really. I've been watching loads of Olympics, loads of footbal; (Go Barca :P - And Del Horno should have been sent off. Combination of the 2 fouls; dangerous play etc etc!) I am also now getting to know all the ice hockey rules (interval between Finland and Russia at the moment, 3-0 Finland :D). I mean, I knew the basic ones before, like the powerplays and stuff, but I didn't know, for example, about the blue lines...It's really interesting though. Shame about the curling...to get so close to a medal :( Poor David Murdoch and co. Looks like GB might just have the one. *sigh*
