(no subject)
alright, so the "surgery" went well, man was i a baby. i get so nervous it is ridiculous....and yes i had reason to be nervous, i was shocked b/c i didn't know what to expect and ended up feeling like i was on an episode of ER when i walked into the room. oh well, it was numb, i felt nothing, and i now have 7 stitches in my ear, what a badass i am :) and i found it hilarious that i was wheeled into recovery, hehe that was fun and it made rana laugh a lot when i told her.
so last night was a lot of fun. i randomly decided we should go see a movie, so i looked up the cheap ones and saw "wedding crashers" was playing. so me, rana, ash, melissa and chris went to see it. it was so hilarious, i laughed so hard at some points i thought i was going to pee my pants. i loved it, definitely glad we went to see it, and definitely worth the $2.50 we paid. it was a really good time! laughed really hard when we saw that it was the same man selling tickets, working concession and vaccuuming. that's probably only funny to those of you who were there.
stopped by to say goodbye to russ last night. i'm really kinda sad that break is over. i'm going to miss russ a lot, he is leaving today. it was nice having him only be like 10 minutes away and being able to see him anytime i want. and i'm really going to miss my friends here too, i know there is really nothing to do around here, but i still love hanging out with them even when we do nothing. and of course i'll miss my family, they're crazy but i love them. oh well, i'll probably be back within the month. i am somewhat excited to go back to school, to see everyone there. i'm just not so excited about classes and being bored. i'm a little worried about my classes this semester, but we'll see how it goes.
i'm super excited to find out what is going to happen with my project that was sent to Jantzen. i'm competing with another girl whose project was sent as well, i'm quite nervous though b/c i remember hers was very good. i've just never had anything like this happen before, so it is really cool, and sort of reassures me that i am in the right major :)
well today's my last day of work. decided i really should work to make that little bit of extra money. plus i am getting my last check with no taxes taken out, and there would have only been one day on it, so i decided to put an extra day on it. its cool though, there's a brunch for someone's bday and then my mom and i are going to visit someone at lunch time. i think i'm going to stop by my aunts house and get my hair cut after work. can't decide if i want just a trim or tell her to put a bunch of layers in. it'll be a spur of the moment thing, cuz you know how i love switching up my hair even though it ends up looking the same :-/ ahh well!
