HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR!!!
haven't had a chance to update this thing b/c i was up north (Glen Arbor to be exact) hanging out with family and skiing! we (me, my brother, russ, my parents, cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles on my dad's side) rented a condo and stayed at the homestead. it was a lot of fun, we hung out, ate a lot of food and i tried snowboarding. the whole snowboarding thing didn't really work out so well, i tried and then figured i should just go back to skiing so i could actually make it up to the bigger hills. if i had stuck w/ snowboarding the entire day, i think i woulda been stuck on the bunny hill :-/ it was a lot fun though, but i'm sore now because of it :(
the new year was fun, although i do wish i could have seen my friends too, but i know they had a good time. my aunt made pomegranate martinis which were very good and we shot off fireworks at a friends and then came back to our condo to celebrate the new year. my family is pretty cool so it was a good time.
i'm home now, but only for the rest of this week, i'm going back to school on saturday. i have sort of mixed feelings, i really do like being at home, it's a comfort thing i think. and i can see russ and my friends here anytime i want while i'm home which is nice too. but school will be good, i get to see everyone there again and classes will keep me busy once again, which i'm not looking forward to.
tonight i'm hoping to hang out w/ Rana, Ash, Jackie and Melissa.
Tomorrow is my cousin's first bday and the 6th is my Grandpa's bday so it's more family time for me, we're celebrating both bdays sometime tomorrow.
time to go...hopefully hanging out soon.
