No, not particularly, but tell me: what are you expecting to be able to do? Chase after him? Sure, go ahead, you'll definitely make it where the others failed, won't you? Do you know where to go? Do you expect that they'll simply let you waltz in and run off with him? Think about it. At best, you get nowhere and return here unharmed, and at -- sweet runes, not even at worst -- they take you, too, and when he comes back you're equally useless, if not still in their tender care.
Think about it a moment. As much as you -- and anyone else who has someone important to them taken -- want to, you can't help him right this moment. Yeah, I know it's hard. I do. I really do. But right now, he's somewhere else, and you can't touch him, no matter how you try.
So stay here. He's been there before, so you know what to expect, as much as you can. Prepare. Stock up on warm blankets and gentle food; prepare him a place to recover as comfortably as he can. This is what you can do, so do it, and do it well.
[[Ah, no worries; I don't blame the poor guy. Gives Caesar a chance to practice his Work Face, anyway. XD]]
...I'm really sorry about that fact, though. If there was anything to be done, I'd come with you myself.
He's very lucky to have a father who so obviously cares for him to return to.
[[Haha; gives me more time to ogle Kratos -- sheesh, he's seriously v. pretty, like what would happen if Aya and Albert had a red-headed love child. And, um, thank you! I blame it entirely on the fact that Caesar is ridiculously expressive and makes it easy. ♥]]
Do you know where the victims usually are found after the ordeal?
[[Ooooh, I agree that Kratos is quite pretty. ♥ He happens to be my second favorite, next to Lloyd, anyway. And Caesar is so adorable and expressive and him and Albert (and Stella) make me go GAAAAAAAAWWW ♥♥]]
Usually outside of town; I found Albert by the river, but others have been found in the forest, at the base of the mountains, different places like that. They just seem to drop them randomly wherever they feel like it, but it seems the citizens here are pretty good about finding them quickly. The fastest way seems to be to keep an eye on the books, wherever you are, and try to pinpoint their location when they return.
I'll keep an eye out for him, as well, and if I find anything you'll be the first to know. If there's anything else in the realm of my ability I can do to help, let me know.
[[I really need to play these games, dammit. D: I feel like I'm missing out on awesome and win, and that is unacceptable. D< ME TOO. ♥]
[[Let's see... there's a whole prequel/sequel thing going on with different platforms here. Tales of Phantasia was made before Symphonia, but the latter's the prequel to it. XD Anyway, If you want to follow that (and see Kratos), I suggest Symphonia first. You can find that on the Gamecube. Phantasia is for the Gameboy Advance, and good luck finding it. Abyss is for the Playstation 2, as is Legendia, and you can play those in whatever order you like since they're separate stories on their own. Then there's the sequel to Symphonia (2 years after the story of that game), s'called "Tales of Symphonia: Knights of Ratatosk". Supposed to come out sometime in 2008, though I'm not sure if it's coming to the states or not. Oh, and don't get Abyss before Symphonia. I've heard from a friend that someone did that, and they ended up getting bored with Symphonia.]]
Eh, not really. I suppose I can if there's no other choice, but I'm just a strategist; I prefer to leave the leading to others.
I didn't catch your name, either, now that I think about it.
[[I bet I could find an emulator for Phantasia to play it on my PSP. Unfortunately, my Gamecube is at a friend's in Montana, still, so ... aaaugh, I was really hoping PS2. D: I'll have to get it back so I can play it, because I'm definitely interested!]]
[[If you have a Wii, you can always play it on there! D: And there is a Symphonia for the PS2, but... it was released in Japan only. They get all the fun! DX]]
[[Aaah! D: You need a Wii. *has one, eee, it's my baby ♥* Let's see... there's also a manga of the game (though the translation isn't complete yet orz), and an OVA as well. And yes, dammit! DX The ToS in Japan had a whole lot of kickass extra features that makes us go ;o;.]]

[[Yay, he got Kratos's default response to everything! :D And... might I add that you make some amazing icons?]]

Um, I'm Caesar.
[[This RP has made me seriously interested. The Tales series, right? Which ones are good to start with, and on what platforms?]]
